… from Lady and The Tramp, is a terrible human being.
I’m going to spend the next few hours half-watching either the Red Riding trilogy or Mitchell and Webb while uploading items to my web-store and updating the Anthems inventory.
This sounds pretty damn near perfect for a Sunday evening alone, at least one that doesn’t involve watching Newsroom.
anthemsoftheundesirable:
Column of Heaven, Mission From God LPs now in stock.

Here’s the deal:
You’re on Tumblr. You follow Anthems or whomever reblogged this. Odds are you know who Column of Heaven are already. If you don’t, that doesn’t matter. If you have anything more than a passing interest in punk rock, hardcore, powerviolence, or noise, this album is smarter and better than anything you’ve bought this year.
Members of some of the best bands to come out of Toronto over the past decade, these guys have truly put together something special here, and I’m sincerely recommending you do yourself the courtesy of purchasing a copy.
Anthems has copies for $11 + shipping (anywhere in the world.)
Read more about the release straight from it’s creator here.
I’m so goddamn excited to put this record into the hands of unsuspecting listeners.
I’ve said it before, but Well fucking played, Andy.
This guy’s synths look awesome.
Watch the demonstration videos if you’re into this kind of thing, there’s some pretty cool stuff.
Thanks to Evan for pointing me towards him.
Now available: Christian Cosmos - Cadence Upon the Threshold of Judgement CS
Limited to 99 copies, this cassette (and it’s 2xCS counterpart, <i>Which Echo Again and Again</i>) sold out immediately upon release. We have several copies remaining and wanted to wait until the duo’s full length was in stock before making them available. Highly recommended as accompaniment to their <i>Enthronement by God…</i> LP.
Awesome release. You should snag one.
Now in stock at Anthems of The Undesirable:
The newest effort from Dom Fernow and Kris Lapke, Enthronement is the first full length effort from the duo (originally released as a cassette box set) after two limited cassettes that sold out immediately earlier this year. It’s exactly what you’d expect from the dudes who mastermind Vatican Shadow and Alberich, and limited to 500 copies.
$15 + shipping.
They were incredibly sloppy… I heard a lot of “You looked great,” type remarks to their Singer at the bar afterwards though.
My interest in that band is rapidly waning.
On another note, Zoloa were legit as hell, and while Double Negative wasn’t quite as good as when I saw then touring off of Daydreamnation, they played a pretty killer set too.
Anyone else heading up to Richmond for tonight’s show? I heard Zoloa is pretty great and I haven’t seen DN in about two years.
